Favorite Scripture Passage and Why
Luke 2:1 "Be Not Afraid"
This phrase is said many many times in the Bible. It is a reacurring theme. When I was younger, my Grandma and I were going on vacation. We found ourselves sitting on the exit row of the plane and as I read the instructions I joked that I did not think I could handle any of them. My Grandma looked at me and said in all seriousness I could handle anythin gput in front of me. I was surprised at how confident she was, so I asked her how she knew that. She told me God knows us all and what we can handle. He will never gives us more than we can handle. Her faith in Gods love translated in to faith in me. whenever I am worrying or struggling, I remember her words and how many times the Bible tells us not to be afraid. It always helps me to continue on in faith.
